The grip and dead ends are specifically designed for applications on ACSS/AW, ACSS/TW, and ACCR conductors. The grip may consist of serrated jaws, wedges of mechanisms that provide a tight hold on the conductor. Material selection—grip and dead ends are made of high-strength materials such as steel or aluminum alloy.
